The economy of Maluku in quarter IV-2017 (c-to-c) grew by 5.81 percent

The economy of Maluku based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in quarter IV-2017 reached Rp.10.41 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached Rp 7.20 trillion. The economy of Maluku in quarter IV-2017 (c-to-c) grew by 5.81 percent. In terms of production, growth was driven by almost all business sectors except Electricity and Gas Procurement which contracted by 2.48 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure was mainly driven by Household Consumption Component which grew by 5.43 percent.

The economy of Maluku in Quarter IV-2017 grew by 5.11 percent (y-on-y). in terms of production, growth is driven by almost all business fields, with the highest growth achieved Construction Business Field which grew 7.60 percent. On the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Foreign Component of Exports which grew by 10.05 percent. The economy of Maluku in quarter IV-2017 increased by 2.61 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth in Electricity and Gas Procurement is 7.50 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side achieved by the Government Consumption Spending component of 5.92 percent.
