Abstract

991/5000
IDI is a composite indicator that shows the level of democratic development in Indonesia. The level of performance is measured by the implementation and development of three aspects of democracy, namely Civil Liberty, Political Rights and Institution of Democracy.
IDI counting methodology uses four sources of data: (1) local newspaper reviews, (2) document review (Perda, Pergub, etc.), (3) Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and (4) in-depth interviews.
Indonesia Democracy Index (IDI) Maluku 2016 reached 78.20 on a scale of 0 to 100.
This number is significantly increased compared to the number of IDI Maluku 2015 which amounted to 65.90.
Although the achievement of Maluku democracy performance is still in the category of "medium", but increasingly close to the "good" category. The classification of democratic levels is grouped into three categories, namely "good" (index> 80), "medium" (indexes 60 - 80), and "bad" (index <60).
