Abstract

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Maluku in May 2017 reached 41.58 percent or increased 0.09 points compared to April 2017. Similarly, if compared to the RK in May 2016 which was recorded at 34.47 percent, ROR for star hotels in Maluku experienced An increase of 7.11 points. Non-star hotel room occupancy rate (TPK) of non-star hotels in Maluku in May 2017 reached 22.30 percent or an increase of 0.37 points compared to April 2017. Similarly, compared to May 2016 (21.96 percent) Non-star hotels TPK in Maluku increased by 0.34 points.
The number of foreign guests staying at starred hotels in Maluku during May 2017 was 644 people, an increase of 35.29 percent compared to April 2017. As for domestic guests totaled 8,993 people or down 5.53 percent compared to April 2017. The number of foreign guests who stay In non-star hotels in Maluku during May 2017 as many as 128 people, or down 20.99 percent compared to April 2017. As for domestic guests amounted to 18,176 people or down 3.29 percent compared to April 2017.
