Abstract

Farmer (NTP) Maluku province in December 2016 was at 100.67, down 0.15 percent compared to November 2016 were recorded at 100.83. This decrease was due to the increase in index of prices received by farmers (It) by 0.44 per cent, lower than the increase in index of prices paid farmers (Ib), which was recorded at 0.60 percent.
NTP highest in December 2016 is still going on horticultural crops subsector, which reached 111.11 while the lowest was in the NTP smallholder tree crops subsector which still remained at a level below 100 is equal to 92.00.
The decline was contributed by lower NTP NTP three (3) sub-sectors, namely the highest horticultural crops amounted to 1.22 percent, followed by food crops by 0.87 per cent and 0.45 per cent of the livestock sector. While people's plantation crops and fisheries sub-sector increased NTP respectively by 1.09 percent and 0.96 percent.
