Abstract

Room occupancy rate (TPK) star hotels in Maluku month of October 2016 reached 35.15 percent, an increase of 5.85 points compared to September 2016. However, when compared with TPK in October 2015 when it stood at 52.13 percent, TPK star hotel in Maluku experience decline 16.98 points. TPK-star hotel in Maluku period January - October 2016, on average, reached 35.04 percent, down 6.64 points compared to January-October 2015 stood at 41.68 per cent.
The number of guests staying at the hotel in Maluku during the month of October 2016 as many as 8,801 people, with the details as much as 430 foreign guests and domestic guests as many as 8371 people. Compared with September 2016, the number of guests in October 2016 increased by around 23.32 percent. However, when compared with October 2015 which recorded as many as 10 131 people, the number of guests in October 2016 has decreased by about 13.13 percent.
