Abstract

Farmer (NTP) Maluku Province in October 2016 amounted to 100.93, down by 0.58 per cent compared to September 2016 were recorded at 101.52. The decrease was caused by lower index of prices received by farmers (It) by 0.36 per cent while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) actually rose by 0.22 percent.
NTP highest in October 2016 is still going on horticultural crops subsector, which reached 111.65 while the lowest was in the NTP smallholder tree crops subsector which still remained at a level below 100 is equal to 92.57.
The decline was contributed by lower NTP NTP three (3) sub-sector, which is still the highest in smallholder tree crops subsector by 1.44 percent, followed by horticultural crops subsector by 1.27 per cent and 0.88 per cent of the livestock sector. Meanwhile, food crops and fisheries subsector NTP increased respectively by 0.88 percent and 0.22
