Abstract

          Total Labor Force in Maluku province in February 2016 reached 733 337 people, increased by 22 281 people compared to the labor force in February 2015 that as many as 711 056 people. The number of people working in Maluku province in February 2016 as many as 682 173 people, increased by 18 912 people compared to the number of people working in February 2015 that as many as 663 261 people.
          Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) in February 2016 amounted to 64.33 percent, an increase compared to February 2015 when it stood at 63.71 per cent. This increase indicates the increase in the labor supply (labor supply) are available in the Moluccas. Meanwhile, Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Maluku province in February 2016 amounted to 6.98 percent, or 0.26 points higher than the TTP in February 2015 amounted to 6.72 percent.
