Poverty Level in the Moluccas Down 0.15 Percent

Abstract

Number of poor (people whose monthly expenditures are below poverty line) in the Moluccas in September 2015 as many as 327 770 people (19.36 percent). Compared with the poor in March 2015 amounted to 328 410 people (19.51 percent), in one year the poverty rate fell as much as 0.15 points and of the number, poor people berkurangsebanyak640 people.
During the period Maret2015 s.d. September 2015, the poor in rural areas is reduced 470 people, while in urban areas decreased by 170 people. The percentage of poor people in rural areas is still high at 26.70 per cent as compared to urban areas reached 7.83 percent.
