This event was attended by representatives from various institutions government and society, signifying a shared commitment to measuring and advancing democracy in the region.
In his speech, Sadali Ie expressed his appreciation for the presence and active participation of all participants. He underlined the importance of this moment as an opportunity to reflect on and be grateful for the democratic successes that have been achieved, as well as identifying the challenges that are still being faced. "Freedom of expression and public participation are important indicators of the health of our democracy. Through IDI, we hope to reflect the nation's journey in fighting for democratic values," he said.
This FGD aims to collect data and information that will be used in preparing the Indonesian Democracy Index in Maluku, an initiative that is expected to provide an accurate picture of the status of democracy in the region. This index covers various important aspects, such as civil liberties, political rights, and the quality of democratic institutions.

It is hoped that the FGD activity can produce constructive discussions and make a significant contribution to the preparation of the IDI for Maluku Province. Through this activity, it is hoped that the construction of democracy in Maluku will become stronger, encouraging the creation of a safe, prosperous and useful Maluku within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
