CONSOLIDATION OF EXPORT DATA THROUGH FGD

Ambon (26/10/2023), located at the Kamari Ambon Hotel, BPS Maluku Province held a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme Improving Export Quality in Maluku Province and was opened directly by the head of BPS Maluku Province, Maritje Pattiwaellapia.
In his speech and presentation, Maritje said that export data is a strategic economic indicator, especially in Maluku Province and this FGD aims to provide statistical data, especially export data, that is complete, accurate and up to date in realizing the National Statistical System. "Accurate, reliable and relevant data is the basis for good planning so that monitoring and evaluation as well as policy formulation can be better," concluded Maritje.
Also present were 2 other speakers, namely the Young Expert Statistics Directorate of Distribution Statistics of BPS RI, Herry Sulaiman and the Head of the Data Reception and Management Section of the Maluku Customs and Excise Regional Office, Tagara Primadista. The activity was attended by related OPDs, BPS internals, and journalists.
