Celebration of National Family Day, Towards Stunting-Free Maluku Families

Ambon. Monday 31 July 2023, the Head of the Maluku Province BPS, Maritje Pattiwaellapia, attended the invitation of the Maluku Provincial BKKBN Representative to the Promotion and Institutionalization of Generation Planning (GenRe). The event which was held at the Marina Ambon Hotel Ballroom was also part of the celebration of the 30th National Family Day (Pricenas) for Maluku Province.
The Governor of Maluku, represented by the Regional Secretary, Sadali Ie, in his opening speech said that Harganas must be the driving force behind accelerating the reduction of stunting in Maluku Province. At the same time he appealed to all parties to optimize the role of the family in breaking the stunting chain.
At the peak of the event, the GenRe Ambassadors at the Village and Kelurahan levels in Maluku Province were confirmed by the Deputy for Family and Family Empowerment of the Indonesian BKKBN, Novian Andusti. This was followed by an award ceremony for the implementation of the Bangga Kencana program and the provision of tali asih assistance in the form of staple foods to families at risk of stunting.
