Collaborating with MACAN, BPS Maluku Province Increases Supervision of ST2023

H-2 when the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) ends, BPS Maluku Province is trying hard to produce accurate data. The three sub-districts of Central Maluku Regency located on Ambon Island, namely: Salahutu, Leihitu and West Leihitu, have not escaped the attention of BPS Maluku Province.

Groundcheck is one of the efforts made with the aim of seeing the achievements of field implementation, to minimize missed census by officers and to resolve field technical problems. By cooperating with the Pattimura University Love Statistics Student (MACAN UNPATTI), one of the locations visited by the ST2023 BPS Groundcheck Team for Maluku Province was Wakal Village, Leihitu District (29/07).

MACAN UNPATTI is here as student support in the implementation of ST2023 which is a collaboration momentum for Advanced Indonesian Agriculture. Unsatisfied at the socialization stage, MACAN UNPATTI intervened.

There were various technical problems in the implementation of data collection by Field Officers and PML ST2023 Wakal Village. Groundcheck yielded sweet results. Respondents who previously could not be contacted by officers could be found and even the ST2023 Groundcheck Team conducted probing, in which respondents who were previously very secretive, were able to give honest answers so that agricultural business data was obtained.
