Collaboration Improvement of BPS Maluku and BI Maluku

Monday, 12 June 2023 an important meeting took place between Ms. Maritje Pattiwaelapia, Head of BPS Maluku Province, and Mr. Rawindra Ardiansah, Head of Bank Indonesia Representative. This meeting was held at the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia and was initiated with the aim of establishing friendship and at the same time discussing the inflation problem currently being faced by Ambon City and Tual City.
The number one person at BPS Maluku Province conveyed the importance of increasing the statistical literacy of journalists in Maluku through knowledge sharing activities. The concept and methodology of macroeconomic indicator data is the main focus of this activity. The aim behind this proposal is for journalists to master the correct statistical concepts and provide accurate information to the public regarding economic developments in the area.
This meeting reflects the close collaboration between BPS and Bank Indonesia in supporting sustainable economic growth in Maluku Province. Both of them showed high commitment in working together to maintain economic stability and social welfare.
It is hoped that this meeting will produce effective policies in dealing with inflation, encourage balanced economic growth, and significantly increase the statistical literacy of journalists in Maluku and through this collaboration, Maluku Province will continue to progress and experience positive developments.
