The Acting Mayor of Ambon received the Head of BPS Maluku Province

Welcoming the 2023 Agricultural Census, the Head of BPS Province of Maluku, Maritje Pattiwaellapia, visited the Acting Mayor of Ambon. Full of intimacy, Bodewin M. Wattimena received visits from BPS staff in his office.

In this meeting, Maritje explained about the 2023 National Agricultural Census Program which will take place from 1 June 2023 to 31 July 2023. Several macro indicators were also presented, such as inflation, poverty and economic growth. "The prices of goods should continue to be monitored, especially the main needs of the community, such as fish, vegetables and seasonings, so that stability is maintained," he said.

"I will instruct the heads of related offices, sub-district heads and RT heads to oversee this activity," said Wattimena, ready to support ST2023. Furthermore, he gave certificates of appreciation to BPS Maluku Province and BPS Kota Ambon which had made a major contribution in providing data for development planning in Ambon City.
